Principal photography set to start on Lone Ranger

Principle photography on the long-awaited Lone Ranger movie will begin Feb. 28, a spokesperson for producer Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed. The movie stars Johnny Depp as Tonto and Armie Hammer as the Lone Ranger. It is directed by Gore Verbinski and will shoot through the summer in New Mexico, Colorado and Utah. Disney has scheduled it for release in May of 2013.
